Delivery & Returns

We offer two delivery options within the UK, standard and express.

Butterfly ship all goods with DPD UK. They offer a fast and excellent service, with you the receiver, in mind. You will receive updates from DPD with your delivery day, and also allocated time slot. You can track your delivery, change your delivery time to suit, or even change the delivery to be left with a neighbour, or droped to a 'Pick Up Shop'. They really do take the stress out of waiting in for your lovely parcel to arrive. 

 

Standard Delivery

 

Standard UK delivery is free for all orders over £100.00

Orders Under £100.00

Monday - Friday only

Cost £3.50

Orders placed before 2pm on a weekday will be packed the next day. 
Please then allow 3-5 working days for delivery. During busy periods it can take longer.

 

Express Delivery 

 

Monday - Friday only 

 

Cost £4.99

 

Orders placed before 2pm on a weekday will be packed the same day. 

 

Please then allow 1-2 working days for delivery.

 

When your order is dispatched you will be sent an email with your tracking details and a link to DPD to track your parcel. If you have provided a mobile number, you will also receive a text.

 

If you aren’t home/at work when DPD try to deliver your parcel, and no one was able to sign for it, a card will be left giving you the option to re-arrange collection. DPD will re-attempt to deliver your parcel up to three times.

 

International Delivery

 

International Delivery is charges at a flat fee of £12.50.

 INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: It is important to note that you may have to pay custom duties and taxes on the items you purchase and that these local fees are not included in your invoice. Please check on the HMRC website for more information about international charges if you are unsure.

 

RETURNS

FOR HYGIENE REASONS WE CANNOT REFUND OR EXCHANGE THE PURCHASES OF EARRINGS.

What if I want a refund?

You are entitled to a refund or an exchange if you return your item in perfect condition within 7 days. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for whatever reason (even if you simply change your mind) we will offer you a refund or an exchange.

 

Complete the Return Form sent with your order and enclose the form in the parcel you are returning to us along with the items. If the items are returned to us within 14 days in perfect condition with all labels and tags attached we will refund you via the original method of payment within 10 working days of us receiving the goods.

 

Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

 What if I want to cancel my order before I have received it?

 The United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations give you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. For orders that are 'Awaiting Dispatch' it may be possible to cancel your order before it is dispatched. Please contact us at orders@butterfly-jewellery.com  as soon as possible after placing the order. If your order has already been shipped please follow the instructions for What if I want a refund?

 

What if I want to exchange an item?

Fill in your Return Form indicating which items you are returning and wish to exchange. If it is not a straight forward exchange for a different size or colour of the same item, please also email or call us and we can advise you accordingly. 

 

What if my item is faulty and I don’t want to pay the postage to return it?

You are entitled to a refund or an exchange if you return faulty items within 30 days.

 Fill in your Returns form indicating which faulty items you are returning and if you want a refund or the item replacing. Place this form in the parcel you are returning to us along with the items. Also include a copy of your postage receipt so we are able to refund your postage costs. Once we have established that it is a manufacturing fault we will refund you via the original method of payment (plus postage costs) as soon as possible after we have received the goods. In some cases this may take longer than our usual refund time of within 10 days depending on the fault.

 

 This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
